Info: Avenged Sevenfold também conhecido com A7X é uma banda norte-americana de metal formada em 1999 na cidade de Huntington Beach, na Califórnia. A banda chegou ao mainstream com o álbum City of Evil de 2005, que inclui singles como Burn It Down, Bat Country, Beast and the Harlot e Seize The Day. O sucesso da banda continuou com seu álbum homônimo, que inclui singles como Critical Acclaim, Almost Easy, Afterlife, Scream e Dear God.
O Avenged Sevenfold começou tocando metalcore em seus dois primeiros álbuns mas após alguns anos a banda mudou seu estilo musical no álbum City Of Evil e hoje é considerada uma das melhores bandas de metal da década [6] assim como seus álbuns [7], chegando até ter o City Of Evil como um dos melhores álbuns do século.[8] O novo álbum se chama "Nightmare" foi lançado no dia 27 de julho de 2010.[9] O álbum contou com Mike Portnoy, ex-baterista do Dream Theater, por ser o maior ídolo de The Rev. Portnoy regravou as linhas de bateria do Nightmare com base em demos originalmente gravadas por Rev, além de participar das apresentações ao vivo. No dia 16 de Dezembro de 2010 Mike Portnoy deixa o Avenged Sevenfold.
